Understanding the Technology
IoBee is a European research project developing innovative technologies to monitor bee colonies and pollinator activity through smart sensors, computer vision and satellite imagery.
Communicating these innovations required more than technical documentation. Complex monitoring systems needed to be translated into visual stories that researchers, beekeepers and public authorities could easily understand.
To support this objective, I developed the project's main promotional video, combining live-action footage, 3D animation and motion graphics to explain how the different technologies work together.
Visualising Innovation
Working from the project's physical prototypes, I modelled each monitoring device entirely from scratch in Blender before producing high-quality 3D animations used throughout the project's communication.
These visualisations transformed complex technologies into clear and engaging visual content, helping explain the role of each device within the IoBee monitoring ecosystem.

Beyond animation, I designed communication materials supporting the dissemination of the project across scientific, institutional and public audiences.
Working within the project's visual identity, I created editorial and promotional assets that helped communicate IoBee's objectives and technological innovation through clear layouts, strong visual hierarchy and accessible information design.
