The Platform
The EU Pollinator Hub is a European platform that centralises pollinator-related data, making scientific knowledge more accessible to researchers, beekeepers, policymakers and environmental organisations.
As the platform evolved, communicating its purpose, functionality and long-term vision became just as important as developing the platform itself. My role focused on designing the communication ecosystem surrounding the platform, ensuring scientific information could be understood across multiple audiences and communication channels.
Building a Consistent Visual System
To support the platform beyond its digital product, I developed a consistent communication system that could be applied across editorial, institutional and promotional materials.
Working within the established visual identity, I implemented the brand across multiple communication assets while ensuring consistency in layout, typography, colour usage and visual hierarchy. The result was a scalable system that strengthened recognition and maintained coherence across every touchpoint.

Communicating Complex Information
To communicate the platform beyond digital channels, I designed editorial publications explaining its purpose, evolution and impact for different stakeholders.
This included a promotional booklet introducing the platform and a concise two-page publication presenting its key functionalities, making complex technical concepts easier to understand through clear layouts and information hierarchy.

Motion Graphics & Tutorials
To improve engagement and platform adoption, I produced the official promotional video together with a series of tutorial videos explaining the platform's features, navigation and functionality.
Using motion graphics and visual storytelling, these resources transformed technical concepts into accessible educational content for users with different levels of expertise.
