The Internet of Bees (IoBee) is a European-funded multidisciplinary project to develop and pair different technologies for the monitoring of bees and their environmental conditions. It integrates in-hive and in-field monitoring with cloud applications and satellite imagery to create new tools for different stakeholders, including beekeepers, associations, researchers and policymakers.
Challenge
In the Internet of Bees (IoBee) project, I faced the challenge of bringing complex technology to life through engaging visuals. Tasked with creating a promotional video, I had to translate advanced tech like in-hive sensors and satellite imagery into compelling 3D animations and models. Additionally, I developed all visual assets for the project, ensuring that intricate details were both accessible and visually striking for beekeepers, researchers, and policymakers alike.
Solution
As a result of my work on the Internet of Bees (IoBee) project, I successfully transformed complex technologies into visually compelling and easily understandable content. My 3D animations and visual assets made advanced concepts like in-hive sensors and satellite imagery accessible to a broad audience, including beekeepers, researchers, and policymakers. The promotional video I created significantly enhanced engagement, ensuring that the intricate details of the project were not only understood but also appreciated by diverse stakeholders. Ultimately, my contributions played a key role in effectively communicating the project's innovations, driving awareness, and facilitating informed decision-making.
