DEADLETTER + Nona Problemo

DEADLETTER brought to Brussels a wave of nostalgia for 70s and 80s post-punk rock that hit hard with its audience. Its vibrant performance certainly resonated with its age-diverse public, creating a space for an intergenerational experience of moshpits and shared feelings of melancholy. It did so by successfully integrating a mix of sound, fashion and spontaneous performance that evoked the essence of the underground scene of British punk and post-punk. The smaller space of AB Club also contributed to the down-to-earth feel which helped build a genuine bond between band and audience.

Contrary to the energetic performance of Deadletter, opening act Nona Problemo set a different mood with a moving yet calmer performance. They conveyed an openly environmentalist message in an alt-rock-pop style integrating electronic music. The result was a captivating stoner-rock-like vibe that put sound quality and creating a capturing atmosphere before showmanship.
